TOM Paphos: New Dates for Driver's Exams
Over 500 new dates for driver's license exams have been opened at TOM Paphos, according to the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeadis. This move aims to address the accumulated problems in the Paphos district.
Paphos MP Chrysanthos Savvidis stated that initially, 250 new dates will be available for August and September, followed by another 250 for October and November.
In addition, two hourly employees of the department will be trained in September to take on the duties of examiners. Mr. Savvidis also raised the issue of hiring four permanent technicians at the Paphos Department of Road Transport.
Road projects were also discussed during the meeting, such as the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road, for which the Minister assured that the procedures are progressing, and the Tombs of the Kings-Coral Bay road, with the project announcement expected in the first half of 2026.
