Grief in Arta: Sudden death of 35-year-old mother

Grief has been caused in Arta by the sudden death of 35-year-old Evanthia Angelopoulou, a few days after the birth of her second child. The kindergarten teacher died last Saturday.

According to initial reports, the death was due to cardiac arrest. Evanthia Angelopoulou was married to pulmonologist Chrysostomos Mitsokalis and they had two children. She had moved to Arta from Patras.

The 35-year-old reportedly felt unwell and collapsed. She was taken to Arta Hospital, where doctors were unable to save her life. An autopsy is expected to determine the exact causes of death. The funeral will take place in Arta after the autopsy is completed.
