Famagusta Mourns the Death of Kyriakos Spyrou

The Famagusta district is in mourning following the death of Kyriakos Spyrou, a member of the Famagusta District Organization. The president of the EOA, Giannis Karousos, expressed his condolences, emphasizing the deceased's dedication to the organization's vision.

Mr. Karousos mentioned Kyriakos Spyrou's significant contribution and the phone call he received from him, during which the deceased expressed his desire to continue working from home despite his health challenges.

The Famagusta District Organization (EOA) will cover the funeral expenses as a sign of respect. The Municipality of Ayia Napa also expressed condolences.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Church of the Resurrection of the Savior in Sotira, at 15:00. The family will not accept condolences, and instead of wreaths, donations will be made to the family.
