TechIsland: Collective Response to Cyprus Fires

Limassol, July 30, 2025 – TechIsland has mobilized its network to raise funds to support fire victims and long-term recovery efforts following the recent devastating fires in Cyprus. More than 50 companies and tech professionals have already pledged to contribute.

The initiative focuses on three pillars: prevention and fire protection, monitoring and early warning systems, and covering the immediate needs of those affected. TechIsland is collaborating with experts and relevant authorities for targeted actions.

Valentinos Polykarpou, President of TechIsland and CEO of Wargaming, thanked the community for its generous contribution, emphasizing the need for a collective and long-term effort.

Representatives from companies such as payabl., AdTech Holding, and RoboMarkets expressed their solidarity and commitment to supporting Cyprus.
