Alert at Akrotiri British Bases: Sirens Sound, Fighters Scramble

An alert was triggered at the British Bases in Akrotiri, with sirens sounding again on Monday afternoon (2/3). According to Omega Channel journalist Ioulieta Michael, on the show "ENIMEROSI TORA," fighter jets immediately scrambled.

Initially, the reason for the alert was unclear, but it was later announced that a danger had been detected in the area. The British Bases were immediately evacuated.

Residents, journalists, and others gathered near the Community Council, seeking a safe place after hearing the sirens.
