Alert in Paphos: Airport and Areas Evacuated

An alert was issued in Paphos following the detection of a suspicious flying object. The Paphos Airport, as well as other areas, have been evacuated.

According to reports, the airport was evacuated following instructions from the Government. It is unclear whether the drone is heading towards Paphos Airport or the "Andreas Papandreou" air base.

Following Akrotiri, an order was given to evacuate all British bases in Cyprus due to a threat. The Ministry of Interior also issued an order to evacuate Akrotiri.
