Meeting on Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Larnaca

The Mayor of Dromolaxia-Meneou, Kypros Andronikou, met with livestock farmers to coordinate measures against foot-and-mouth disease in the Larnaca district. The meeting followed concerns about livestock units in various regions of Cyprus.

During the meeting, there was a dialogue on prevention and biosecurity rules. The livestock farmers were informed about the measures taken by the Municipality of Dromolaxia-Meneou to prevent the spread of the disease. The importance of cooperation with the Veterinary Services and the competent state authorities was emphasized.
