Finding affordable housing in Limassol remains a challenge for students at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK). The Head of Student Affairs, Vasilis Protopapas, emphasized that rents are high and competitive.

TEPAK offers various solutions, including 200 rooms in the Apollonia Student Residences and 100 rooms in the city center with subsidized rent. Additionally, it allocates €800,000 annually for housing subsidies, supporting approximately 300 students with €250/month.

TEPAK Rector Panagiotis Zafeiris announced the creation of new dormitories in the Verengaria area, with a capacity of 500 rooms, to be completed in two years. In Paphos, 150 rooms were secured in cooperation with the Municipality of Paphos. The goal is that no student should be deprived of education due to housing costs.

Currently, approximately 800 students benefit from TEPAK's housing policies, and with the new dormitories, this number could reach 1,300.
