Fire Department Issues Fire Safety Recommendations for High-Rise Buildings

The Cyprus Fire Service has issued recommendations to managers and owners of high-rise buildings to enhance fire safety. The recommendations focus on maintaining fire protection systems and preserving the functionality of escape routes.

The Service is also requesting the establishment of a legislative framework for the maintenance and inspection of active fire protection measures. The Chief Fire Officer has already sent a relevant letter to the Director-General of the Ministry of Interior.
