Furthermore, the Service submits the vehicles for technical inspections every two years at the Department of Road Transport, even though it has no legal obligation to do so.
The Fire Department has a central workshop and technicians to address problems immediately. The safety of personnel is of primary importance, and any vehicle with a defect is grounded until it is repaired.
