The Fire Department has refuted a publication regarding defective fire trucks, emphasizing that every delivery is made in accordance with the Public Procurement Law and European specifications.

In its announcement, the Fire Department states that each delivery is accompanied by the necessary certificates ensuring quality, safety, and legality. Furthermore, the Service submits the vehicles for technical inspections every two years at the Department of Road Transport, even though it has no legal obligation to do so.

The Fire Department has a central workshop and technicians to address problems immediately. The safety of personnel is of primary importance, and any vehicle with a defect is grounded until it is repaired.
