Paphos Fire: Helicopters Deployed in Kouklia

A fire broke out on Monday afternoon in the province of Paphos, at the Ha-Potami location in Kouklia. According to Fire Department Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, four fire trucks responded.
The fire is burning dry grass, stubble, cypresses, and crops north and south of the Limassol - Paphos highway. Two fire trucks from the Department of Forests and one K.M.P from the Game Service assisted in the extinguishing effort. Water drops were made by two firefighting helicopters.
The fire has been brought under control, having burned approximately one hectare. The causes are being investigated in cooperation with the Police.
