Fire in Limassol: Aerial Forces Reinforced

Photos secured by OmegaLive show the situation in the Germasogeia area, near Mouttagiaka, where a fire is raging. The fire is even visible from the Enaeriou area.

According to the Fire Department, strong firefighting forces are operating north of Mouttagiaka, with the support of the Department of Forests, the Kitas Weather Volunteer Team, and tracked vehicles.

Initially, two firefighting aircraft were operating, but this is expected to increase to five.

The fire is visible from the highway, and the smoke has covered the area.
