House Fire in Latsia: Two Hospitalized

A fire broke out in a house in Latsia, Nicosia, on Monday afternoon, resulting in two people being taken to the hospital with respiratory problems.

The Fire Service responded to the call around 15:39, dispatching two vehicles to the scene. The fire was located in a bedroom on the first floor and caused extensive damage.

According to initial assessments, the fire was caused by a forgotten candle in a children's room. The two residents were taken to the hospital as a precaution for monitoring.
