President of Cyprus: University of Athens Programs Certified in Cyprus

The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, welcomed the certification of the programs of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) for the operation of a branch in Cyprus.

In a statement, President Christodoulides stated that this development strengthens the Government's strategy for the internationalization of education and makes Cyprus a regional academic center. He also emphasized that cooperation with international Universities and Research Centers strengthens Cyprus' position and expands the possibilities for academic and research development.

The President expressed his gratitude to the Rector and the Rectors' Authorities of EKPA.
