Isaak-Solomou Memorial Initiative: Tribute Events

The Isaak-Solomou Memorial Initiative commemorated the sacrifice of Tassos Isaak and Solomos Solomou with a two-day event. The motorcyclists started from Kyperounta, where a street was named in their honor.

In Kyperounta, in the presence of the family of Tassos Isaak, their story was placed next to the street name.

On Friday, the journey continued towards the Nicosia checkpoints. The memory of Konstantinos Pourou Hatzimichail and Giorgos Platis, members of the Initiative, was honored. Symbolic closures followed at the Ayios Dhometios, Ledra Palace, and Ledra Street checkpoints.

The Initiative will attend the inauguration of the heroes' monument by the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia.
