First Repatriation Flight of Cypriots from Dubai Arrives – 182 Arrivals

The first repatriation flight of Cypriots from Dubai landed at Larnaca Airport at 18:35.

According to ΚΥΠΕ, the plane carried 182 Cypriot citizens, including three infants.

The Cyprus Airways aircraft, an Airbus A320-214, had departed from Larnaca at 7:30 AM and landed in Dubai at 11:45 AM (Cyprus time). It departed from Dubai at 13:30 (Cyprus time).

Approximately 756 Cypriots are in Dubai, and a total of three repatriation flights are planned.

Additionally, at 17:10, a Gulf Air flight arrived in Cyprus from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, carrying 12 citizens who had been stranded in Manama, Bahrain. Their accommodation was secured by Gulf Air and the Republic's embassies in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Cyprus chartered commercial flights for the repatriation of citizens, with the cost being fully covered by the state.
