Lane Closures on Nicosia Highways for Roadworks

The Department of Public Works announced roadworks on the Nicosia – Limassol, Nicosia – Larnaca, and Nicosia – Akaki highways. The works will take place on various dates in September 2025.

Nicosia – Limassol: From September 1st to 4th, 2025, 21:00-05:00, horizontal signage works from the GSP roundabout to the Kalispera traffic lights. One lane will be closed in sections.

Nicosia – Larnaca: On September 1st and 8th, 2025, 09:30-13:30, removal, transport, and reinstallation of signs from the junction with the Nicosia-Limassol highway (A1) to the Rizoelia roundabout. The left lane will be closed locally.

Nicosia – Akaki: On September 3rd and 4th, 2025, 21:00-05:30, removal and resurfacing works towards Nicosia from the Denia exit to the Akaki roundabout. Traffic will be diverted via Kokkinotrimithia.

The Department of Public Works requests understanding and compliance with temporary signage.
