Caution: Landslides on Roads in Cyprus

Landslides of rocks and soil have occurred on several roads in Cyprus. Police are urging drivers to exercise caution in the following areas:

• Karvounas – Troodos
• Kakopetria – Pinewood
• Kykko – Tsakkistra – Kampou
• Gerakion – Kykko

Drivers are advised to be especially careful. No particular problems have been reported on the main road arteries. Roadworks in various areas may affect traffic flow.

The Police recommend caution to those traveling on the road network, urging them to observe the traffic code and comply with traffic signs to avoid road collisions.
