Kites and Drones Near Airports: Aviation Authority Warning

The Department of Civil Aviation warns that flying kites and drones near Larnaca and Paphos airports may endanger flights, especially on Clean Monday.

In a statement, the Department calls on citizens to avoid these activities in the airport approach areas. The Municipality of Larnaca issued a similar announcement, specifically mentioning the Aliki – Tekke, Mackenzie Beach, Kiti, and Perivolia areas as high-risk zones.
