Citizens Extinguish Fire at Pedagogical Academy Park

A forest fire was brought under full control at the National Forest Park of the Pedagogical Academy in Aglantzia, according to an announcement by the Department of Forests. The fire broke out at 17:55 near the park's refreshment area.

Citizens who were in the area immediately extinguished the fire before it could spread. Three people from the Department of Forests participated in the extinguishing operation with 1 fire truck.

The cause of the fire is attributed to the throwing of a firecracker, according to ΚΥΠΕ.
