Emergency Departments on Full Alert Due to Fires

OKYPY spokesperson Charalambos Charilaou stated that all Accident and Emergency Departments of public hospitals are on full alert to handle incidents related to the fires.

The Burns Unit of Nicosia General Hospital is also on standby.

Three ambulances, the special team of the OKYPY Ambulance Directorate, and two specialized nurses staffing the helicopters for aeromedical transport are stationed in the fire area.
