Pachyammos: Request to open Kokkina crossing point

The Pachyammos Community Council is requesting the President of the Republic to prioritize the opening of the crossing point at Kokkina. The request was submitted in a memorandum delivered to President Nikos Christodoulides during a memorial service for those who fell in the battles of Tillyria.

The Council emphasizes the need to open the crossing point, highlighting the social and economic impact of the region's isolation. They also point out water supply problems and request support for the implementation of drilling. In addition, they request a satellite early fire detection system and water tanks due to the area's vulnerability to fires.

The Community Council also requests cooperation to ensure access to the beach and cemetery, as well as financial support for the completion of a park and memorial for the fallen.
