PASYXE Thanks Members for Hosting Fire Victims in Limassol

The Cyprus Hotel Association (PASYXE) has expressed its gratitude to its members for their immediate response in providing accommodation for the fire victims in the mountainous region of Limassol.
In a statement, PASYXE noted that its members demonstrated that hospitality is a way of life, despite the high occupancy rates of the tourist season. Dozens of hoteliers from all provinces offered rooms to fellow citizens who lost their homes.
Several members continue to provide rooms, showing solidarity. PASYXE also mentioned the hoteliers in Paphos, who hosted members of the aerial firefighting units.
PASYXE stated it was proud of its members' stance, emphasizing that the tourism industry of Cyprus is the backbone of the economy and a living cell of social contribution.
