Cold Weather Persists: Low Temperatures, Rain, and Snow

A cold air mass is affecting the region until Monday. According to the Department of Meteorology, today the weather will be mainly clear, but at times there will be locally increased cloud cover, which in the afternoon and early evening may bring isolated rain or light snowfall in the mountains.

The winds will blow mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will rise to 15 degrees Celsius inland, around 18 on the coast, and 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where local frost will occur.

Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, although at times there will be locally increased cloud cover. The winds will blow mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 6 degrees Celsius inland, around 7 on the coast, and minus 2 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Sunday, the weather will be mainly clear, but at times there will be locally increased cloud cover, which in the afternoon and early evening may bring isolated rain or light snowfall in the mountains. On Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be mainly clear, although at times there will be locally increased cloud cover.

The temperature on Sunday and Monday is not expected to change significantly and will remain below the average climatic values, while on Tuesday it will rise. The snow height in Chionistra, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 2 centimeters.
