The Greek Cypriot representative to the Committee on Missing Persons, Leonidas Pantelides, stated that approximately 45 Greek Cypriots remain missing from the 1963 period, of whom 20 have been located.

According to Mr. Pantelides, 16 were found and identified in Hamit Mandres, while 4 were found at the site of the tekke in occupied Nicosia, with their identification pending.

Mr. Pantelides also mentioned that he will investigate information about the mass murder of approximately 80 Greek Cypriots around 1963, following claims by Yusuf Kisa, owner of the Yeni Bakis newspaper.

Mr. Kisa, citing an eyewitness, stated that approximately 80 Greek Cypriots were beheaded and thrown into a well. Mr. Pantelides will attempt to contact Mr. Kisa to investigate the information and the potential location of the mass grave.
