Frederick University: Emphasis on Laboratory Experience in Pharmacy

Frederick University's five-year Integrated Master's program in Pharmacy emphasizes the connection between theory and practice, offering students substantial laboratory training.
Almost all courses include a laboratory component, enhancing the understanding of theoretical concepts and developing skills vital for future pharmacists.
Students are trained in six modern laboratories: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Physics.
Antonis Papaioakovou, a graduate of the Department of Pharmacy, mentions that the practical part was the most exciting. Vicky Christodoulopoulou, a student in the program, emphasizes the development of skills in analysis and providing advice to patients.
Frederick University also offers a Postgraduate Program in Advanced Cosmetology and Natural Health Products and a Doctoral Program in Pharmacy.
The academic year 2025-26 begins on October 6, 2025.
