Paphos: Fire at Goudi Under Control – Aerial Support Operating

The fire west of the Goudi community in the Paphos district has been brought under control. The fire consumed approximately 12 hectares of dry grass and wild vegetation.

Three aerial firefighting units have completed their drops and withdrawn, while one remains for perimeter security. Ground forces remain for final extinguishing and to deal with any flare-ups.

Five fire trucks from the Fire Service operated, with the support of the Department of Forests and the District Administration, as well as four aerial firefighting units.
