Fire in Agio Stefano Contained

The fire that broke out in agricultural and forest land in Pefkofyto, Agio Stefano, has been contained. 70 firefighters with 31 vehicles and 3 helicopters participated in the extinguishing operation.

Due to the fire, traffic was interrupted in the Pefkofyto area, from the Boyatiou intersection to the "Frigano" nurseries. Traffic was restored after the fire was contained.

The fire broke out shortly before 15:00.
