"Blood Moon" Visible in Cyprus: Duration Over Five Hours

The total lunar eclipse, known as the "blood moon," will be visible in Cyprus on September 7th. The eclipse will last over five hours.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon's surface. During a total eclipse, the Moon takes on a deep red color.
The Troodos Observatory is organizing a special observation event. The phenomenon will be fully visible from Cyprus, with the moon rising at approximately 18:59.
The partial eclipse will begin at 19:28, while the total eclipse will begin at 20:30. The eclipse will reach its peak at 21:12 and end at 23:55.
