Road Stabilization Project Completed at Petra tou Romiou

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has announced the completion of the road stabilization project on a section of the old Paphos-Limassol road (B6) near Petra tou Romiou.

The works, which began on May 13, 2024, were completed on August 8, 2025. The project included the construction of pile walls, a retaining wall, and drainage systems.

The project cost €3,292,300 + VAT and was undertaken by Cybarco Contracting Limited. The project was funded by the Republic of Cyprus.

The road is now open to traffic.
