A British family experienced an unpleasant situation during their vacation in Paphos, Cyprus, due to the presence of cockroaches in their hotel.

The father of the family reported finding cockroaches in three different rooms of the hotel, in various locations such as pillows, floors, windows, and the shower. "I had never seen a cockroach in my life," he stated, expressing his disappointment with the situation.

Despite their complaints, the family only received a compensation voucher worth £60 from the holiday package provider. The company claimed that cockroaches are a common sight in warm climates but acknowledged that the situation caused discomfort to the guests. The family emphasized the need for higher cleanliness standards, especially when children are involved.
