Road Network: Lane Closure in Pedoulas Due to Bus Incident

According to the Police, the road network is generally operating without significant issues as of 9:00 PM on Friday. Traffic is flowing normally on highways, in urban areas, and in coastal and mountainous regions.

On the Pedoulas-Pinewood-Kakopetria road, in the Pedoulas area, one lane remains closed due to a disabled bus. Efforts are underway to remove it with a tow truck.

The bus broke down around 1:00 PM after a fire in the engine, which was extinguished by the automatic fire suppression system. There were no injuries, and the passengers were transferred to another bus.

The Police advise caution and compliance with the traffic code.
