New State-of-the-Art Emergency Department at Larnaca General Hospital

The new state-of-the-art Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) of Larnaca General Hospital began operating on Thursday, September 18th. The aim is to improve and provide immediate service to patients.

OKYPY emphasizes that it is making significant changes and investments to continuously improve the patient experience and more effectively manage emergency cases.

The new A&E is fully equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and specially designed wards, and is staffed by experienced medical, nursing and support staff trained in the immediate management of critical incidents.

The entrance to the new A&E is located on the north side of the old building. Access is through the main entrance of the old building, where there is a possibility of a short stop for the quick service of emergency cases.
