New Snow in Troodos Mountains: Stunning Images

New snowfall occurred on the highest peaks of Troodos on Saturday (24/1), creating a magical landscape.

According to KitasWeather, snowfall and light snow cover occurred in the early morning hours. Videos and images from the area were published.

As reported, there is light snow cover at the Jubilee Hotel, while 3-4 centimeters of fresh snow were added to the Troodos ski resort.

The Department of Meteorology reported that the weather will be cloudy with local rain and isolated thunderstorms. Hail may fall during thunderstorms, while snow or sleet is expected in the higher mountains. Gradual weakening of the phenomena is expected after noon.
