New Hospital Announced in Polis Chrysochous by President Christodoulides

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, announced the political decision to create a new hospital in Polis Chrysochous, on the site of the old military camp. The announcement was made during the inauguration of three projects in the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous on Friday.

Preparatory actions have already begun, with the necessary studies to follow soon. President Christodoulides described the project as a historical vindication for the area and a due obligation of the state.

In addition, three new projects were inaugurated: the Sea and Culture Multipurpose Center in Latsi (€1.9 million), the Exhibition Center for Reptiles and Amphibians in Neo Chorio (€400,000), and the Renovation of the open space in front of the Town Hall (€1,750,000). These projects, along with the new hospital, aim to strengthen local development and improve the quality of life for citizens.

The President emphasized that the government has a clear vision for the holistic development of Polis Chrysochous and the wider region, including Tillyria.
