New Bids for Paphos-Polis Chrysochous Road Higher Than Expected

New bids for the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road are higher than the initial estimate, according to the Ministry of Transport.

The evaluation process of the bids, submitted on April 17, 2026, will be carried out with full diligence, taking into account current market conditions.

The ministry emphasizes that the Republic of Cyprus has not succumbed to unjustified claims and that responsible management of public funds is being ensured. A full picture is expected within the coming weeks.
