The Minister of Health, Neophytos Charalambides, emphasized the importance of developing an organized resuscitation system, both at the pre-hospital and in-hospital levels, during the conference of the Cyprus Resuscitation Council in Limassol.

The Ministry of Health supports initiatives that enhance education, certification, and harmonization with European guidelines, aiming to strengthen patient safety and the quality of health services.

Mr. Charalambides stated that continuous training of health professionals is necessary due to rapid technological advancements and developments in the field of resuscitation. Specialized health care is a challenge, as health professionals are called upon to act immediately in rapidly changing situations.

Additionally, the Minister of Health referred to the "Unified In-hospital Resuscitation Policy", which is expected to be completed within the year, as an example of cooperation between the involved parties.
