Limassol Fire Victims Support: Lump Sum Payment and Information Meetings

The Ministry of Interior has announced support measures for those affected by the fire in the Limassol District, including a lump sum payment to cover basic needs. The payment process has already begun and is expected to be completed within the next week.

Citizens who do not have an account with the General Accounting Office are requested to complete the relevant form through the Community Councils, accompanied by an IBAN Certificate, in order to receive the lump sum payment.

In addition, a team of officials from the Limassol District Administration will hold open information meetings at the Community Councils of the affected areas. The first visits are scheduled for:

  • Friday, August 1, 2025:
    • Kivides, 10 a.m.
    • Agios Amvrosios, 11:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 2, 2025: A new announcement will follow for the next visits.

Members of the Civil Defence Force will accompany the team to record any new needs of the citizens.
