Relief Measures for Fire Victims Underway

The Commissioner for the Development of Mountain Regions, Charalambos Christofinas, stated to the Cyprus News Agency that measures to relieve fire victims are underway. Mr. Christofinas has been appointed as the head of monitoring and supervising the implementation of the measures.

According to Mr. Christofinas, electricity has been restored to 80% in the affected communities, while water supply has reached 90%. In addition, the waste management plan for the affected areas has been completed, with the aim of immediate removal of damaged items.
