Security Alert Ends in Akrotiri

The alert in Akrotiri ended shortly after 10:00 this morning. The British Bases announced at 10:15 that the security incident had ended and movement restrictions were lifted.

The sirens had sounded shortly before 10 a.m. As reported by the Mayor of Kourion, Pantelis Georgiou, a relevant message was received.
