Limassol: 19-year-old rescued from drowning by citizens

A 19-year-old was rescued from drowning at Akti Olympion in Limassol on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the young man, a foreign permanent resident of Cyprus, was spotted calling for help approximately 100 meters from the shore around 8:00 PM.

Bathers in the area noticed him and brought him to shore. He was then taken by ambulance to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
