Larnaca: Oversight of Bus Drivers' Contracts to Continue

Following the lifting of strike measures at Larnaca Public Transport, the oversight of contracts will continue by the Department of Labour Relations.

According to a joint announcement by the unions ΟΜΕΠΕΓΕ-ΣΕΚ, ΣΕΓΔΑΜΕΛΙΝ-ΠΕΟ and ΔΕΕ ΕΜ/ΚΩΝ ΔΕΟΚ, the General Assembly of workers decided to lift the strike measures after a proposal from the Ministry of Labour.

The unions thanked the Ministry of Labour for its intervention and apologized to the public for the inconvenience caused.

The goal is to upgrade the transport system and ensure the rights of workers.
