Larnaca: Truck 'Speeding' Through Roundabouts – Nearly Overturned

A video posted by RoadReportCY on social media captured a road safety incident in the Mackenzie area of Larnaca, where a heavy truck is seen passing through two roundabouts at excessive speed.

The incident occurred at approximately 08:25 on Saturday morning (07/02/2026). In the video, the truck exhibits extreme lateral tilt during turns, with the load leaning heavily, coming close to overturning.

Additionally, the truck's license plates were covered in mud, making identification difficult. The driver who recorded the video reported that the truck belongs to the Municipality of Larnaca, but the information has not been confirmed.
