Larnaca: Dog Beach Vandalized – Trash and Damage Spark Outrage

Outrage is growing among citizens who maintain the dog beach in Larnaca (Larnaca Dog Beach), after discovering vandalism and pollution. Trash, broken items, and remnants of partying marred the scene.

According to a complaint received by OMEGAlive, the situation at the beach is unacceptable. Volunteers who clean the area daily were confronted with a disappointing sight, including broken sunbeds, beer bottles and charcoal.

A volunteer emphasized that "it is not the dogs that pollute the beach, but the people," adding that the Municipality of Larnaca has been informed and immediate cleaning is expected.
