Traffic Congestion in Nicosia Due to Incomplete Roadworks

Roadworks at the junction of Spyrou Lambrou and D. Severi streets in Nicosia are causing significant traffic congestion, especially in the Ayioi Omoloyites area. According to reports, the road has narrowed, allowing only one car to pass, while the pit that has been dug remains unfinished.

The situation has worsened, with drivers forced to wait several traffic light cycles to enter D. Severi Street. The inconvenience to drivers is increasing due to the absence of work at the site.

The roadworks are located 200 meters from the Presidential Palace. It remains unclear which agency is responsible for the works, but their immediate completion is requested.
