Crete: Foot-and-mouth disease measures – Vehicle disinfection stations

The Region of Crete has announced the continuation of vehicle disinfections across the island, as part of emergency measures to prevent the introduction and spread of foot-and-mouth disease.

Since Tuesday (3/3), disinfection stations have been installed and are operating at 16 locations on Crete's road network.

The stations operate from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 14:00, to serve livestock farmers in each Regional Unit, who can disinfect their vehicles.
