Tala Community Leader Thanks Fire Services for Prompt Response

The community leader of Tala, Giannakis Konikkos, expressed his gratitude to the fire services for their prompt and effective response to a fire that broke out in a residential area of Tala. Speaking to "Phileleftheros", he stated that the immediate response prevented the worst.

Mr. Konikkos emphasized that the fire broke out in a densely vegetated area, making the rapid intervention of the fire services crucial. He also praised the swift intervention of the aerial firefighting units, which prevented the fire from spreading to nearby residences.

Furthermore, the Tala community leader mentioned the excellent cooperation with the Monastery of Agios Neophytos, which provided assistance with fire trucks and infrastructure. He also congratulated the cleaning staff of the Tala Community Council for their timely notification.
