Lane Closure in Pedoulas Due to Immobilized Bus

A lane on the Pedoulas-Pinewood-Kakopetria road, in the Pedoulas area, remains closed due to an immobilized bus. The incident occurred around 1:00 PM on Friday when a fire broke out in the bus engine, which was extinguished by the automatic fire extinguishing system.

There were no injuries, and the passengers were transferred by another bus. Efforts are underway to remove the bus with a tow truck. The Police advise drivers to be careful.
