Road Closures in Nicosia and Limassol Due to Construction

The Department of Public Works announced that works will be carried out in Nicosia and Limassol, leading to temporary road closures.

Limassol: On Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 21:00 to 06:00, asphalting works will take place on Agias Zonis, Platonos streets and at the junction of Makariou III Avenue with Platonos street. Sections of Platonos and Agias Zonis streets, as well as a section of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue will remain closed. Simultaneously, on the same day, from 20:00 to 05:30, horizontal signage works will be carried out on the Limassol bypass road, between the Germasogeia roundabout and the Agios Athanasios roundabout, towards Paphos. Both lanes of the bypass road to Paphos will be closed.

Nicosia: On Thursday, March 26, 2026, and Friday, March 27, 2026, between 09:00-16:00, maintenance work will be carried out on the bridge joints of the Nicosia Peripheral Highway, near the pillars of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC). One traffic lane will be closed.
