Yellow Alert for Strong Winds Issued in Cyprus

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for strong winds today. The alert is in effect from 09:00 to 18:00.

Strong to very strong winds, 6 to 7 Beaufort, are expected to mainly affect the interior, western, southwestern, and northern parts of Cyprus. Gusts of gale-force winds may reach up to 8 Beaufort.
